What to include in your first message
Seven lines. If you send all of them, the reply is normally a quotation. If you send three, the reply is normally a question — which is fine, but slower.
- 01 The products or SKUs you are considering — the SKU code is enough if you are working from our catalogue.
- 02 Quantities, or the quantity band you are working towards. A trial quantity and a target container volume are different conversations.
- 03 Destination country and port, because that decides the packaging rules and the freight estimate.
- 04 Your buyer type: e-commerce seller, distributor, private label or foodservice. It changes the terms that come back.
- 05 Any customisation: logo, colour, packaging, barcode. Say if it is still undecided — it is cheaper to discuss than to fix.
- 06 Certification or documents your retailer, customs broker or marketplace requires.
- 07 A target landed cost, if you have one. It shapes the specification discussion more usefully than a target FOB guess.
What happens after you send it

Same day or next working day, with any gaps in the specification listed rather than assumed.
- 02 Quotation with the components separated
Goods, packaging, testing and freight shown as separate lines, valid for 30 days.
- 03 Sample if you want one
5–10 days for a production sample, normally credited against your first bulk order.
- 04 Order, inspection, shipping
Sealed golden sample, pre-shipment inspection, loading record, and documents before the vessel sails.
